What to do if you have a burglar alarm fault over Christmas
Let’s face it, nobody is thinking about burglar alarm faults over Christmas but unfortunately these things have a habit of cropping up when they’re least welcome. The good news is you don’t have to worry too much as we are here throughout Christmas if you need us.
You won’t be popular over the festive period if your burglar alarm activates so here are a few useful things to take note of:
If your alarm displays anything out of the ordinary or sounds any usual beeps then give us a call. We can often talk you through re-setting it over the phone and this could potentially avoid false activations later.
If you are going away but don’t have a key holding service then it’s a good idea to leave a number with a neighbour so that they can contact you if the alarm goes off. If you could leave a key and the means to re-set the alarm with a trusted neighbour or family member that would be a good idea. If your alarm has a speech dialler fitted you could set it up to let you know when the alarm is activated.
If your alarm activates and you can’t turn it off with the code or fob then ring us on 01924 371941. We have engineers on call 24/7 over Christmas and if we can’t talk you through the problem over the phone then we can come out to fix it. Your neighbours won’t thank you for your alarm going off while people are at home enjoying the festive period.
Our shop is also open as usual over Christmas; we’re only closed for the bank holidays – 25th and 28th December and 1st January. Therefore, we can also deal with key cutting, locks and safe sales over this time.
