Win a pair of tickets to the Ossett Beercart Festival
The Ossett Beercart Festival is taking place at the end of this month and once again, as a continued sponsor of the event, we are giving away 2 pairs of tickets. Each ticket gives you entry to the festival on either Friday 31st May or Saturday 1st June AND tokens for 2 pints of beer. It also includes a programme and tasting notes and if beer is not your thing you can use the tokens for 2 glasses of prosecco.
How to win
Winning a pair of tickets is really simple: just like our Facebook page and/or share one of our Ossett Beercart Facebook posts. Easy peasy!
You can have as many entries as you like – we’ll add an entry to the draw every time you share our posts so the more you share, the more chance you have to win.
So, who fancies free beer then?
We’ll be drawing the winners at 12pm on Friday 24th May so you have until then to enter. Tickets can be collected from our shop on Roundwood Industrial Estate or posted to you. We’ll announce the winners on our Facebook page.
Drink beer for charity!
The Ossett Beercart is organised by Wakefield Morris and the proceeds go to Wakefield Hospice. Therefore, any money that you spend there once you’ve used your tokens, goes to a great cause so you can feel smugly satisfied with your selfless, charitable beer drinking!
As well as the beer festival itself in Ossett Town Hall, the event is a hub for Morris dancing with 20 teams from across the UK coming to dance in Ossett town square and around the vicinity. There is also the procession of the Beercart from the cricket ground to the town hall to kick things off on the Friday evening. See more details here.
Terms of the draw
- 1 entry will be placed in the draw per valid activity (see above) between 01/05/19 and 12:00 24/05/19
- Only new page ‘likes’ from 01/05/19 will be entered
- The draw will be made at 12:00 on 24/05/19 and the winners will be announced on the Facebook page. We will also attempt to contact winners directly via Facebook
- If we are unable to make contact with a winner by 28/05/19, a new winner will be drawn
- Winners can collect their tickets from our shop on Roundwood Industrial Estate or we can post them. Calder Security will not be held responsible should tickets not arrive by post in time for the festival. Tickets must be collected by 31/05/19
- The prize draw will be made by Calder Security whose decision is final. No cash alternative will be offered
- Winners must be aged 18 or over
