We are seeking an apprentice security engineer due to an internal promotion within the company. The role will include assisting with security alarm maintenance and installation as well as learning other areas of the business including CCTV, fire alarm and access control systems.
No experience is necessary, just a willingness to learn and an interest in electronic systems. The role is customer facing so you will need good interpersonal skills and demonstrate an ability to be punctual and reliable. The apprenticeship will last approximately 3 years (possibly less depending on how quickly you pick things up) and you will shadow a qualified engineer, working on live jobs. You will be given support and guidance throughout and on completion you will become a qualified engineer and continue your career here. Based from our office in Wakefield you will travel around the Yorkshire region.
