Business Security Alarm Monitoring
Burglar alarm monitoring offers an additional security measure for businesses to the intruder alarm system itself. Often a requirement specified by business insurance policies, alarm monitoring provides an extra layer of protection designed to minimise risk should the worst happen and an intruder triggers the alarm. If it does, the monitoring centre will notify the key holder and/or guard (if required) in the first instance and the emergency services should it become a ‘confirmed alarm’. All our alarms are installed to standard DD243 2010 and British Standard BS8243, required to qualify for police assistance.
Types of Business Intruder Alarm Monitoring
We can offer the following 3 main types of alarm monitoring systems:
- Digital – operated via a phone line
- RedCare GSM – operated via a phone line and GSM
- Dualcom GPRS – operated via a phone line, GSM and GPRS
The more sophisticated the monitoring system, the greater the back-up options are should the phone line be cut or fail.
All of our practises and systems comply with the Security Systems & Alarms Inspection Board for False Alarm Management and this approach means that false alarms are kept to a minimum, as are technical faults.
